Microshare Inc. Names Veteran Technologist Chris Dipple as Chief Data Scientist

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 23 – Microshare Inc. has named veteran technologist Chris Dipple as the company’s Chief Data Scientist, addressing a growing demand among clients in North America and Europe for expanded offerings in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Dipple, a founder of several technology firms in the UK and an experienced early stage business consultant, adds to Microshare’s growing presence in Europe, where Internet of Things (IoT) deployments have grown exponentially in the past three years.

“We are seeing increased demand from our customers for Machine Learning and AI capabilities,” said Microshare CEO Ron Rock. “Chris brings extensive experience to our  team in these disciplines, and we are very excited to have him join the team.”

The Philadelphia-based IoT data sharing and governance platform has recently won several large and complex contracts where ML/AI applications can provide deeper, more actionable intelligence, cost savings, and ultimately revenue streams for clients.

Dipple has over 40 years of experience with all aspects of data analysis and computer engineering leadership. He is a founder of SO Systems (Structured Data Mining and Business Analytics), SECPay, an internet payment, processing and anti-fraud company, and the cyber security firm Centient. In a consulting role, Dipple has worked with clients like Mastercard, the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Oracle and has a quarter century of experience helping startups reach their full potential.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Queen Mary College, London, and a master’s degree in Theoretical Artificial Intelligence from Edinburgh University.
