Ellen Brockley
Vice President, Microsoft Alliance
Ellen Brockley leads Microshare’s strategic relationship with Microsoft, leveraging the vast Microsoft network of marketing resources, collaborative partners and resellers that will enable Microshare to scale its IoT Sensing-as-a-Service business to customers in every industry around the globe. Working closely with leaders of the Microsoft Azure IoT teams, enterprise channel managers and specialty teams, Ellen continually develops go-to-market strategies and product offerings that serve the evolving needs of our expanding portfolio of joint Microsoft-Microshare customers.
Microshare recognizes that in today’s complex business world, no single company can survive without strong partners. Ellen works to ensure Microshare is an active participant in many Microsoft programs, especially those accelerating adoption of Azure IoT through the Microshare Smart Network.
This important relationship began with Microshare’s graduation from Microsoft for Startups in 2019, an initiative Ellen shepherded to a successful conclusion.
Ellen joined Microshare in 2013 following a varied career including enterprise technology deployment, strategic consulting, ERP solution sales, and entrepreneurship. She began as a computer programmer for Seafirst Bank in Seattle, lived on the road providing technology consulting for Logica Data Systems, then settled in NYC as part of the sales leadership team in the financial services group at Oracle. Since the dot-com era drew her attention in 1999, she has focused on building start-up companies that commercialize technology innovations to simultaneously solve real-world problems and generate revenue.
Ellen holds an SM in Management of Technology from MIT and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Idaho.
